A Resiliency workshop for Healing and Helping professionals
A Resiliency workshop for Healing and Helping professionals
This interactive workshop applies creative approaches for deeper embodiment, awareness, and resilience. This workshop prevents burnout and creates sustainability for the vital work that we do.
In this one-day training, you will:
- cultivate a variety of mindfulness practices for self-care, awareness, presence and well-being
- develop a basic understanding of the nervous system impacts of trauma exposure and how they affect your feelings, behavior and relationships
- reconnect to a deeper sense of your life purpose
- strengthen your capacity for connection and establishing healthy boundaries
- identify strategies and pathways to replenish your inner resources and maintain joy and balance in your work
This workshop draws on the wisdom of Joanna Macy and the Work that Reconnects, on the work of Augusto Boal and Theatre of the Oppressed, in particular Image Theatre, and on mindfulness practices that have grown out of the Buddhist tradition, particularly through Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings of “engaged Buddhism.”
Join us to re-energize, nourish yourself and inspire your work through mindful inquiry and practice!
